e85 sensor

ethanol content sensor wired in today, absolutely stunned at this turn on and it works fine feature...

i just wired it into the return line, fired the car, running fine, started adding in e85 to my tank filled with pumpgas, and it just clocked up and ran like nothing happened. afr perfect.

wired in sensor
fired on regular pumpgas, saw the (up to 10% sign prove nearly right)
my tank had about 9-10 gallons of gas in it, i started trickling in e85 while it was running approx 5gal
15%
finally emptying the container and hitting approx 32%
awesome part is the default settings were so perfect, i didnt change my fuel at all, dead on while it was idling it never noticed or had a single issue, pretty awesome!

My friend Mitch's 5.3 turbo swapped 55 Chevy project

Helped my friend mitch out tonight. Closing in on finishing his car I'm looking forward to seeing it done.

i think this china turbo might hit 800+whp thru the th400 wich is incredible at 30% loss to the tire that is 1100flywheel single turbo, budget china... insanity

needless to say this car has exceeded expectation, i made over 700whp with some spare parts 5.3 i built and a simple as hell air to air setup pumpgas

2-19-15 update methanol and battery wires and 2nd fuel pump etc!

moved around and cleaned up some wiring today in the front, moved battery feed directly to starter post, then left the 6ga feedng the power bus bar, added a 2ga cable coming back in from the block and strait to the rollcage front support, since the battery is grounded to the back support plate, going to see how it likes that now, much simpler and cleaner since i was just using what i had left over from the fairmont before, slightly corroded 6ga wires mostly haha

installed a trunk mount 1.5 gal kit and twin nozzles 5gph i believe each, and wired the 2nd stage of the holley 12-1800 fuel pump on the same leg, used the "VVT" output on the ecu and told it to come on at 160kpa - 8~ psi tested the output and its working great.

cant wait to see it all work.

holy shit why does my engine bay look so clean

struts, caster camber plates, and fender rolling

replaced the struts today with 02 mustang GT struts brandy new, also replaced the strut power stock rubber mount with a caster camber plate setup so that it doesnt blow out the rubber mount and punch through the hood, also for some race car handling.... not really. On top of that my friend rolled the front and rear fenders and now you can even put your fingers in the fender while someone jumps on the back of the car.

shakedown pulls tonight

did some quick shakedowns tonight, tires rubbing really badly front and back (front only when turning) and rear only on the outside, so i am gunna get these fenders rolled and pulled to clear, because i want to fit these 28s for best mph with my 355 gears, built in boost control in MS3 is flat out retardedly awesome, i told it what boost i wanted, and it was able to deliver easily, climbs to target and holds, didnt even get to mess with the sensitivity settings but i could make it target faster, made 2 dyno pulls, tires were rubbing so bad it made me nervous so i quit before i blew one of them off the car at 140 lol, car made 509whp on 13psi 10.40 AFR and 554whp on 14psi, hp still climbing great when i lifted nervously at 6400 haha it seems like its making around 40whp per psi right now, wich would be awesome to stay on track for 700 tire wich is my goal, im sure tire rub is eating a little power too, but successful trip! some things to address but i drove to the dyno and slammed down 500+ twice and came home without an issue! video is coming

driveshaft complete, extended wheel studs on front wheels, next week i should be driving around

installed extended wheel studs on the front wheels, and raised the car a little on the coil overs, pressed the driveshaft together, insanely enough this driveshaft tube was donated from a youtube member! he made it for me to my measurements, and i just put my ends on and viola, tossed it in. its awesome how the community gives back!

trying to go over everything 3x and zip tie a bunch of stuff to make sure it doesnt fall out or burn on things, etc.

stuck a nice squeeze performance sticker there in the engine bay gotta represent my sponsors!
