wild pass in the fairmont

welp worked on the nitrous and boost controller in the 8th today, track could have been better but at least i got my boost controller sorted out and where i want i have her set on 21lbs right now basically, i made 10 passes over 100 in the 8th easy today, one of them was a 107mph on boost only on a 2.0 60ft...
last pass was after someone oiled down the track and they cleaned up it was like 42deg and the track was cold and i juiced a tiny bit off the line and cut a 1.8 so nitrous is working good, just gotta try some things, the car is a hand full to say the least.
i turn off the spray in 2nd gear and keep it pinned and it was spinning and wandering bad, so i chopped it and straitened it out and then said fuck it and shifted 3rd and planted it, since i figured the track was shot and i wouldnt make anymore passes, it went 1.8 60ft, went only 103 in the 8th because of traction, then i went 11.03 @ 134mph out the back lol car is a rocket. just need some more work and passes.

a 75whp shot in there right now to help spool the turbo and kick it off the line, gunna try it in 1st gear, see how it does, and up or down the size of the shit depending on how she launches.

todays fun with turbo cars

drove these two around a bunch today, worked on the suspension on the Ventura, also wanted to show some pictures of the Bed liner paint job.
then we changed the oil in the fairmont, bled the front brakes, undercoated it, and installed a class 3 trailer hitch from a E250 van corey had laying around hahahha.

to help this car out of the hole because i dont have a big stall, a little juice will surely help it 60ft lol

drivetrain, hotside, coolant system, etc, all done

completely reubuilt 8.8 rear, summit tubular uppers and lowers, subframes, turbo hotside, coldside, exhaust ( i added a muffler) intercooler tabs welded in, piping in, some wiring done, really getting there!

methanol installed, and boost controller for the 4.8 notch

installed a methanol kit today and the ebay boost controller with great sucess, the boost controller definately brought down the spool time by being a ball and spring and blocking reference for a few psi, and the meth kit held the car together when we learned we were out of fuel pump at 20+lbs of boost... LOL

it has a walboro 340lph stealth in the tank and well i can guarantee we are over 600rwhp because its smoking these 28x10.5 slicks from a 70 roll like they are shit.

15* 21lbs of boost, woot woot.

adding the 044 from the ventura tomorrow to see if we can remedy that then buying another 044 for the ventura... hopefully racing this 4.8 beast sunday.

finally got the 10 sec pass with the turbo truck

no nitrous, drove in on drag radials and pumpgas with meth and ran 10s and got booted!
