dyno'd my truck today for fun

675whp @ 17 psi.

started my hotside today

picked up alot of odds and ends, as always, like spark plugs and exhaust pipe and whatnot to get this hotside started, tore down a cheapo wastegate we had and got it working, that will be going on this car. sprung it for like 8-10lbs hopefully. got the turbo mounted up in the car, close to finalizing that, going to hang the intercooler and start wiring next, should have brake lines for the rear soon and once that is done i will drop in the tank and run fuel lines also...

got valvesprings and my tank done today

my friend offered to make a custom sump for my stock tank in the fairmont! looks awesome

Rear swap and more

Made motor mounts sunday night and took care of some other engine bay things like throttle cable and etc, swapped out the 7.5 stock rear tonight and installed the build 8.8 and summit control arms..

waiting on some turbo kit items like Vbands and my friend to sump the stock tank etc then going to get the wiring in the car done and get ready to start hammering more out

more odds and ends today on the swap

making some progress, did motor mounts today, made a throttle bracket, and cleaned up alot because it was a disaster here lol, clearanced the water pump neck for the throttle, trimmed the cruise control bracket, figuring out where i wanna put this turbo and other things etc.

picked up a complete 4.8 and also dropped the motor in the car for mock up

tried to leave motor and trans connected, but cant really fit it in the way we want to, going to make some mounts soon, i was able to burn in the subframe connectors for now and get a ton of other things ready.

Tuned a ctsv today also

Did a quick tune up on a 2007 ctsv. Going to dyno Friday hopefully

Picked up an already built rear for the Fairmont. 31 spline axles and diff. Frpp cover and brace

Put my kia on the dyno

My friend got a new dyno dynamics and we tried the kia for fun. What a powerhouse

picked up a built 8.8 today for the fairmont

already has 31 spline moser axles, 31 spline diff, and FRPP girdle
ready to go in!

fireturd rained out at island

we took the fire turd to island sunday morning to try and run it, got through tech and then it rained out.
bummer

tore into the fairmont sunday night after we got rained out of the dragstrip

tore into the fairmont after we got rained out at the dragstrip.
cut a bunch of things and yanked the motor and trans together, then assembled a 5.3 shortblock i had in pieces, going to hopefully throw some heads on it and get it bolted to the trans, and installed and make mounts for it later this week. hopefully starting on it tuesday, i have some stuff to order.

belt chucker!

throws belts like a beast
here is me rolling 4th gear lightly then rolling out and it chucks it right off
i have a tensioner and a new belt on the way to see if that fixes it, the damn tensioner must be worn out and cant rebound fast enough...
