built 370 in the truck!

slapped the truck together, with the built bottom end, 317 heads and got it running again with the same small turbo, its so out of breath is basically capped at 550whp, i ordered a larger turbo and we are waiting to get that in! i am hoping for 800whp on pump fuel!

another turbo 2500 work truck

this is my friend donavans work truck, decided to turbo it a while back and has been collecting parts, started working on it this weekend. using a KB racing manifold and a s475 he has for the turbo, going to be stock computer, intercooled, and methanol, 80lb injectors all the regular stuff.

this thing needs shorter gears badly, but other than that i am nearly done tuning it!

got everything done with the truck!

so i tested out the trans and converter and fuel pump etc, doing great.

tons done today, even drove the truck around

fuel rail spacers yesterday from lowes haha, trans filter for the 80e, put the pan on the 80e, its ready to go.

put the last coupler i needed on the front end and got all the clamps on it, put the grille and everything back on, buttoned and zip tied everything, installed the wideband in the car, even checked the fluid and took it for a drive, in the video i dont have the reference hooked up to the wastegate, later i got it plugged in and it makes 12psi right now but the stock fuel pump cant keep up with that at all.

drilled and tapped the intake piping for the meth kit. 

going to finish that up this weekend when we do the 80e swap and also drop the stock fuel tank and install the walbro 400 in the tank.

should be ready to get nuts soon!

truck getting there!

for not working on it a whole lot, its coming together super fast, i have the intercooler done in the right side to the throttle and i am waiting on some ebay couplers for the left side from turbo to intercooler, after that i just need to finish the valvesprings on the right, and extend the cam position sensor pickup to the new front sensor, and then install the injectors and pigtails for the injectors

then its oil feed and drain time and fire the motor and start tuning
once its running decent and seems good we will go ahead and swap in the 80e and get the driveshaft done. because we are still waiting about a week or two for the circle D converter to come in

a friend of mine just got this 2000 silverado, 4.8, we will be throwing in a turbo and a 80e etc

surprisingly i can get good traction if i roll into 2nd gear, when its hot out like this and i have these tall 31s out back, i can also brake boost them loose and burn them for what seems like as long as i want to lol

took the truck to maple grove for fun on street tires

well sunday morning i figured what the hell, lets take the truck to the grove on the street tires i have, i dont have any slicks or anything to put on it, so i might as well give it a try with what i got.

i managed to get down to an 11.9 @ 121mph hahah insane, i never thought it would do that well.
it weighs 5060lbs with me in it and about 3/4 tank...

no video of it sadly, since we never thought it would go that fast in the first place haha
