first passes with the car are in
my buddy corey took the car to the track today as i was busy!
he made 3 passes, one first pass was 11.30
the next pass he got on the brakes after the 8th,
then third pass he ran out the back and went 11.0 @ 126mph
great start so far.
might race again tomorrow!

we took the fire turd to island sunday morning to try and run it, got through tech and then it rained out.

went to island dragway today with the notch and tims AMG
uncle Timmy bought a E55 AMG and ran it today for fun, 11.9 @ 116mph!
and here is dons notch! drove it from allentown to island and made some passes, we were adjusting the 2 step and the shocks a bit, have a bunch to learn and see how the car does etc, but it did a best of 10.23 @ 140mph! she is hustling!

corey racing my car at the track today
took it out for some test and tune, and work on the trans shift settings
and check the temps since it was hot as shit, got the car dialed in to
16psi and it looks like i am running out of fuel... gunna work on that,
and probably upgrade the fuel pump to something giant for the other
motor. car easily goes 106 in the 8th even hitting the limiter on the
1-2 shift sometimes.

88gt 5.3 turbo car goes 10.55 first outing
what a awesome day today haha
we have this TBI 350 powered flatbed towtruck, and the motor was fuckin tired, as you might have seen in the last video hahah
anyway we just happened to have a 454 big block carbed motor sitting in the driveway, yes, in the driveway... so obrien racing LLC decided to install the big block in the towtruck, they slammed it in there super fast, and we put a regulator on the fuel feed and return and got the pressure down to 9psi for the stock quadrajet and got it fired etc, everything is great otehr than having to hotwire the pump to run when the key is on since we are really not using any of the tbi electronics.
so my buddy wires it up no fuse or nothing but does use a relay, well half way to the track, on a bridge... the wires melt lolol
so we used a jumper cable to power it enough to pull off the bridge, and we were following him in another car, so went to auto zone and got the wire and a fuse holder and wired it up and finished our trip to the dragstrip.
first pass in the car we decided why not footbrake nice and see how she does.
10.55 @ 133mph 1.7x 60ft 107 in the 8th. awesome, we are super pleased with this, considering we can turn up the boost a little and even spray it with nitrous if we really want to hahah.
the next two passes were off the trans brake but although they look great because of the squat you can also see the car fishtailing and spinning 1.8 60 and going 10.60 and 10.71 i think, ill be cutting and uploading the video shortly.
but i figured you would all enjoy the sloppy story.
he also knocked the rear view mirror off today on a launch

wild pass in the fairmont
welp worked on the nitrous and boost controller in the 8th today, track
could have been better but at least i got my boost controller sorted out
and where i want i have her set on 21lbs right now basically, i made 10
passes over 100 in the 8th easy today, one of them was a 107mph on boost
only on a 2.0 60ft...
last pass was after someone oiled down the track and they cleaned up it was like 42deg and the track was cold and i juiced a tiny bit off the line and cut a 1.8 so nitrous is working good, just gotta try some things, the car is a hand full to say the least.
i turn off the spray in 2nd gear and keep it pinned and it was spinning and wandering bad, so i chopped it and straitened it out and then said fuck it and shifted 3rd and planted it, since i figured the track was shot and i wouldnt make anymore passes, it went 1.8 60ft, went only 103 in the 8th because of traction, then i went 11.03 @ 134mph out the back lol car is a rocket. just need some more work and passes.

finally got the 10 sec pass with the turbo truck
no nitrous, drove in on drag radials and pumpgas with meth and ran 10s

raced the fairmont today!
first pass, well first 200 ft i hit boost cut at 22lbs, so i quickly
jumped out, took the line off the top of the gate and ran 14lbs off the
bottom only, next time i lined up i let her go easy 2.0 60ft. and short
shifted and it went strait as an arrow down the track, ill have the
video up soon but they stopped me at the doghouse and told me to go
strait to tech inspection lol (meaning i was done for the day)
