todays adventures, truck 2ft up on jackstands, methanol kit installed, 60e out, 80e in, crossmember modded/installed, fuel pump installed/tested, trans lines done, driveshaft getting dropped off at associated, and we even delivered the LS1 and t56 to its new owner, all before 5pm
plasma cut off the stock mount, flipped the crossmember, welded it on flipped and it fit perfect, like it was meant to be haha
this friday my friends pulled this ls1-t56 combo out of a camaro SS
its going in a friends truck, he is currently using a 5.3 and a 80e mockup bits i have to get everything squared away and wanted the ls1 and t56 combo for this pig, so we dropped it off today with him.

tons done today, even drove the truck around
fuel rail spacers yesterday from lowes haha, trans filter for the 80e, put the pan on the 80e, its ready to go.
put the last coupler i needed on the front end and got all the clamps on it, put the grille and everything back on, buttoned and zip tied everything, installed the wideband in the car, even checked the fluid and took it for a drive, in the video i dont have the reference hooked up to the wastegate, later i got it plugged in and it makes 12psi right now but the stock fuel pump cant keep up with that at all.
drilled and tapped the intake piping for the meth kit.
going to finish that up this weekend when we do the 80e swap and also drop the stock fuel tank and install the walbro 400 in the tank.
oil feed and drain, wastegate on the crossover pipe, crossover installed, cold side nearly done just waiting on a coupler or two, going to do the downpipe and fuel injectors tomorrow i think.
well we swapped in a 94 GT master cyl and the brake pedal is way better, feels awesome.
also doing some testing with interrupting the stock IAT wire to screw up the ignition settings in the computer for help brake standing the car, that is also working!
wired in a button for reverse lights since my shifter doesn't have provisions and i thought it would be easier haha, also replaced the heater core in the car, so awesome, so easy to do in this car, just swap it out right behind the glove box, so nice to have heat again haha..
started putting in the valvesprings i got for troys truck, and mocking up the hotside, going to go quick i think!
short story is, my friend got a truck, and i told him i would turbo it for him no problem haha so that is getting worked on, and i also got the cam for my fairmont and installed that
fired this swap today, Joe and Ryan swapped the truck and wired it, and i just stopped by to plug in the ecu and get it fired up and running! awesome to see it key to life, the injectors were actually frozen and we had to hit them with a wrench and power them off the battery with alligator clips to kick them open haha

my friend Ryan is helping his friend swap a older truck with a 5.3 and 4l60e combo!
pulling more out of the truck... i yanked the cam today, with a dowel in place, and the loosest lifter in the world went strait to the windage tray, lol! first time that has ever happpened, so that sucked, had to pull the pan and tray, luckily i could do that while it was installed, wasnt too bad, then tore off the cyl head and reinstalled it after i got the cam in, and everything seems good now haha, got the rest of it buttoned up and started filling the block, gotta bolt up the converter and then starter and see if she fires.
