replaced the struts today with 02 mustang GT struts brandy new, also replaced the strut power stock rubber mount with a caster camber plate setup so that it doesnt blow out the rubber mount and punch through the hood, also for some race car handling.... not really. On top of that my friend rolled the front and rear fenders and now you can even put your fingers in the fender while someone jumps on the back of the car.

accessories throttle cable, and gas tank putty!
fuel cell had leaky fittings and o rings, always wanted to try that quicksteel putty stuff and holy shit it works great
smash together, roll up in a log like play dough and cover the edges of the fittings, and viola, hard as cement in an hour and doesnt leak a drop
blazer alt, truck bracket, caravan throttle body
also my friend that gave me the fuel cell also gave me a quick disconect steering wheel attachment, and we figured, what the hell, why not make the tsock wheel a quick disconect one just for fun
so my neighbor is going to machine the hub down and flatten it and bolt it to the hub then we will weld it on the stock column

test fitting motor, turbo kit, turbo and more
threw in a bunch today, test fitted nearly everything, measuring how much needs to get cut out of the oil pan, and more. some nice pics of how the hotside fits in the car also.
adjusting the coil overs, plasma the fenders
my girlfriend said there was entirely too much metal in the fender well, so she sliced it out, then i painted the engine bay up also, a shot of my hodge podge bottom end.

time for the 5.3 to go together
today we made some room, pushed the cars back, had to replace the caster wheel on the engine hoist, then we moved the painted 5.3, installed valvesprings, studded the motor, removing one head bolt at a time then installing the studs, once the studs and springs were installed we did the cam. This time after pulling the balancer i used a LS7 crank bolt wich is longer than a truck bolt, pulled the balancer right on no problem then you finish with the truck bolt, man this worked so well i dont know why i have never done it, like it was meant to do it, crazy how i have never heard of it till my friend john said something about it, thats the way he does it.
either way the motor is back in the yellow car already with the reiners engine mounts ready for the turbo kit tomorrow.

truck getting there!
for not working on it a whole lot, its coming together super fast, i have the intercooler done in the right side to the throttle and i am waiting on some ebay couplers for the left side from turbo to intercooler, after that i just need to finish the valvesprings on the right, and extend the cam position sensor pickup to the new front sensor, and then install the injectors and pigtails for the injectors
then its oil feed and drain time and fire the motor and start tuning
once its running decent and seems good we will go ahead and swap in the 80e and get the driveshaft done. because we are still waiting about a week or two for the circle D converter to come in

fairmont and truck updates
well we swapped in a 94 GT master cyl and the brake pedal is way better, feels awesome.
also doing some testing with interrupting the stock IAT wire to screw up the ignition settings in the computer for help brake standing the car, that is also working!
wired in a button for reverse lights since my shifter doesn't have provisions and i thought it would be easier haha, also replaced the heater core in the car, so awesome, so easy to do in this car, just swap it out right behind the glove box, so nice to have heat again haha..
started putting in the valvesprings i got for troys truck, and mocking up the hotside, going to go quick i think!
